Tax Property Inc. ("TaxProperty," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. 2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth, which may support email/password and third-party authentication providers.

     

  • Payment Information: When you subscribe to the Pro plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. Stripe collects and processes this information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We may receive and store a truncated card number, card type, expiration date, and billing address from Stripe for record-keeping purposes.

     

  • Communications: When you contact us at team@taxproperty.com or through any contact form, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, and the content of your message.

     

  • User-Generated Content: Information you create within the Service, such as saved properties, custom folders, favorites, and search preferences.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, search queries, properties viewed, and time spent on the platform.

     

  • Device and Browser Information: We collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language preferences.

     

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns. See our Cookie Policy (Section 8) for more details.

     

  • Log Data: Our servers automatically record information, including your IP address, access times, pages viewed, and referring URLs.

  • We may receive information about you from third-party services you use to authenticate (such as Google or other OAuth providers through Supabase Auth), payment processors (Stripe), and analytics providers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as for tax, accounting, or legal compliance purposes) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

 

Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication through Supabase, PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe, and regular security assessments.

 

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
